Tegalalang Village Travel Guide

The small village of Tegalalang is located on a picturesque river valley, around 80 kilometres north of Kuta in the heart of the island of Bali.

This tiny village is well known for it’s stunning emerald green terraced hillside, home to traditional rice paddies. The beautiful views are complemented by surrounding coconut palms and lush forests as a backdrop. It is a favourite stopping off point for photographers wanting to capture this traditional method of rice growing.

The village is also known for the hand carved wooden souvenirs sold there for quite reasonable prices.
