Centre Pompidou Travel Guide

Located in near the centre of Paris the Centre Pompidou is a well known attraction in Paris. It is probably most famous for it’s outlandish architecture which features many of the buildings services such as air conditioning and plumbing as brightly coloured visible elements on the outside of the building.

Fittingly, the centre houses the Museum of Modern art (Musée National d’Art Moderne) as well as a large public library ( ) and a research centre for music and acoustics. The centre also sits alongside the Place Georges Pompidou, a large public square famous for the street performers, sketch artists and other entertainers which are frequently found there.
