Located only a few kilometres to the south of Banff township the Banff Upper Hot Springs have been soothing the weary bones of visitors for around one hundred years. At an altitude of almost 1,600 meters (5,200 feet) they are the highest hot springs in Canada.
Luxuriate in the 47 degrees C (117F) waters surrounded by beautiful alpine forests while overlooking the magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountains and valleys that march into the distance. It doesn’t matter if it’s sunny, rainy or even blizzarding the Hot Springs envelop you in their warming embrace with the majestic Mount Rundle looming from the valley below.
There is also a restored 1930s bath house as well as a cosy cafe where you can get delicious food and drinks.
